Client Challenge
Headquartered at Miami University (OH), World Creativity and Innovation (WCI) is UN-recognized organization dedicated to promoting global creativity. With their annual celebration nearing, there was a critical need to enhance their online presence as their existing website lacked functionality, aesthetics, and user-friendliness. L Street partnered with their key stakeholders and board to provide them with a refresh that prioritized visual clarity and messaging coherence, improved the events submission portal, optimized backend processes, and refreshed the brand identity.
Our Solution
The Collab team began with analyzing the existing site, incorporating user feedback, and brand assessments for a holistic picture of needed improvements. Several visual concepts were created and refined by collaborating with the WCI team to ensure a cohesive message from the start. To improve page performance and efficient content importing, our team fully reconstructed the WordPress website. Throughout the build process, pages were extensively tested for seamless performance across all platforms. The new site launched with a contemporary design, intuitive interface, and enhanced functionality, including event registrations and a database containing over 50 creative resources. The site is accessible in six languages, lending to building connections on a global scale and across the 160 participating countries. Upon completion of the project, our team provided a process document for maintaining consistency and accuracy when editing pages, ensuring a smooth transition and setting the stage for continued partnership and growth.
